Sarah attended Smith College, where she graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and History. While at Smith, Sarah competed in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association. She graduated Cum Laude, in the top 7% of her class, from Florida Coastal School of Law in May 2008. During law school, Sarah served as Staff Editor of the Florida Coastal Law Review. She won Book Awards for best brief in her legal writing course, and highest grade in criminal procedure. She was consistently on the Dean’s List, and maintained her merit-based Governor’s Scholarship throughout law school. Sarah attained Certified Legal Intern status as an extern with the Office of the Public Defender for the Fourth Judicial Circuit. Sarah also worked as a law clerk in a well-regarded family and civil litigation firm in Jacksonville, where she honed her legal research and writing skills. Sarah was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2008.
