Theo received his Bachelor's degree in 1985 in Finance and his law degree from the University of Florida with honors in 1988. His practice areas include workers' compensation, longshore and harbor workers' compensation, other injury and employment related litigation and entertainment law. He has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1989 (Workers' Compensation Section and Trial Lawyers Section), and the Jacksonville Bar Association (Workers' Compensation Section).

He is a founding member and Master in the E. Robert Williams Inn of Court. He was voted by his colleagues in 2007 and 2008 to be included as a "Super Lawyer" in the State of Florida in the area of Workers' Compensation Defense. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubblle. He is a member of the Florida and American Bar Associations. His bar memberships also include the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit.

Theo has lectured at the Annual Florida Workers' Compensation Convention and hundreds of other seminars. He is certified by The Florida Department of Insurance as an instructor in Florida Workers' Compensation.
