Dawn received her Bachelor's degree from Washington & Jefferson College in 1992 and her Law degree from D.C. Law in 1995. She is a member of the Florida Bar, being admitted to the bar in 1996. Dawn is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. Dawn concentrates her practice in the defense of workers' compensation and labor and employment matters. She is a member of the Florida Bar (Workers' Compensation Section) and the Broward County, Dade County and Monroe County Bar Associations. Dawn is certified by the State of Florida to teach law-related adult education classes. Dawn is also certified by The Florida Department of Insurance as an instructor in Florida Workers' Compensation, and has lectured at numerous seminars regarding ethics and the administration and defense of workers' compensation claims. Dawn was previously the Vice-Chair of the Workers' Compensation Rules Committee. At present, Dawn is a member of the Workers' Compensation Rules Advisory Committee and a member of the Florida Bar's Rules of Judicial Administration Committee. Dawn is a member of the Excecutive Counsel of the Florida Bar's Workers' Compensation Section. Dawn is also the CLE Chair for the Florida Bar's Workers' Compensation Section.
